According to recent reports, workers at the Imo State University, IMSU, have embarked on an indefinite strike after Gov. Rochas Okorocha's failure to pay their salaries.
IMSU workers, on Tuesday said no staff of the institution have been paid a dime in the past three months.
The state polytechnic could also tread the same path as reports say the workers there are yet to get their salaries as well.
The polytechnic workers equally insisted that “all arrears of migration and promotions must be paid without further delay”, stressing that “failure to do so before April 6, 2016, the Union will no longer guarantee industrial harmony in the institution”.
