Samuel Oki, a relative of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s uncle, kidnapped on Tuesday February 17 along with the uncle, has been buried in Otuoke.
NAN recalls that the deceased was taken away with Jonathan’s uncle and killed by the kidnappers.
Those who attended the funeral include Jonathan, former Commissioner for Health, Mr Azibapu Eruani, and the Chairman of Azikiel Construction Company.
The Permanent Secretary, Special Duties, Government House, Mr Promise Ekio, former Special Adviser to President Jonathan Mr Ariolor Jonathan and Dr Elisabeth Oki, the personal physician to the former President.
A family member, Mr Paul Igbogamini, said he was sad over the demise of Oki, urging the family and well-wishers to stay calm and leave everything to God.
“No amount of tears can bring this our brother back, vengeance is of the Lord, He knows everything, I believe his death will not go in vain,” he said. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
