The Deputy Governor of the state, retired Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah, disclosed this yesterday in Yenagoa at the government’s Transparency Briefing for the month of January 2016.
According to him, the fund will be used to clear the backlog of salaries owed by the eight local government councils.
He said the money was ready for collection before the December 2015 governorship election but added that the APC-led federal government refused to release it.
