Remi Garde is set to relieved of his duties at Aston Villa in the next 48hrs.
Chairman Steve Hollis continues to ring the changes at Villa ahead of a seemingly inevitable relegation from the EPL.
The Frenchman, who has just two wins in 20 Premier League games, would most likely be replaced with Nigel Pearson.
Pearson, who was sacked by Leicester last summer, would be to return to management at Villa Park but is likely to wait until the end of the season.
