Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri has tipped his predecessor Antonio Conte to succeed as Chelsea manager should he be appointed.
Conte announced his intention to exit his role as Italy head coach after Euro 2016 on Tuesday, thus intensifying speculation he will move to Stamford Bridge next season.
And Allegri believes his the Italian has what it takes to excel in England.
"Italian coaches are very good," Allegri told a media conference. "Apart from some exceptional figures like Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho, we are among the best.
