The Super Eagles amassed 2.5 points to garner a total of 542.5 points for January.
Nigeria is now ranked 12th in Africa and 63rd in the world, supersport.com reports.
The team first round elimination at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda was expected to affect the country’s position in the monthly rankings.
