Lagos state signs LASU residency Bill into Law.
The Lagos State Government has formally amended the laws of the Lagos State University which now makes the institution residential. This means that the university will now provide accommodation within its premises for its students going forward unlike what previously obtained in the past.
This was announced today by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at a briefing which also saw him sign the N25bn Employment Trust Fund Bill into law.
Also signed into Law were amendments to the tenure of the LASU Vice Chancellor and retirement age of LASU Professors, 5 years single term and 70years retirement age respectively. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
