Beat FM OAP, Gbemi Olateru in hot water for throwing jabs at Olumofin brothers

The 2016 year of drama in the Nigerian entertainment industry continued yesterday after Beat FM on-air personality, Gbemi Olateru threw jabs at two brothers, Dokun & Joro Olumofin, who she has tagged as “Social Climbers” and party crashers according to her tweet.

The brawl began when she posted comments about how often these brother show up uninvited to society events.

Based on her tweets, it is apparent she finds this sort of behaviour unacceptable stating that if one does not get a party invitation, such individuals should not make attempt to attend.

See some of her tweets below:

Although Gbemi did not mention names, but she was clearly talking about the Olumofin brothers in respect to her Beat FM colleague's wedding, Tolu Oniru popularly known as Toolz, who is having her traditional wedding at the weekend.

However, the Olumofin brothers, responded to her claim that they are 'social climbers'.

The brothers, Joro and Dokun on Instagram harshly replied Gbemi with Instagram posts laced with insults and abusive words.

They shared their e-mail invite to Toolz and Captain Demuren's wedding which was the subject of the whole drama in the first place. He also scared a screenshot of his chat with Tunde Demuren acknowledging that he got the invite.

His other posts targeted Gbemi. The posts can best be described as a hot 'blast on Gbemi's personality'.
