IN PICTURES: How Dasuki, Yuguda, Baffarawa and others appeared in court



Former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki, former Minister for State of Finance Bashir Yuguda, Former Sokoto state governor Attahiru Baffarawa, his son Saggiru and others were arraigned in court today for hearing of their bail application which was adjourned till Friday.

The EFCC had on Monday arraigned Dasuki along with a former Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the NSA, Shuaibu Salisu, and Aminu Baba-Kusa before Justice Baba Yusuf.

In a separate case before Justice Peter Affen of the same FCT High Court in Maitama, Dasuki and Salisu were on Tuesday arraigned alongside a former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda; a former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa; his son Sagir Attahiru, and their firm Dalhatu Investment.


They all pleaded not guilty to the 22 counts of misappropriation of about N13.651 Billion meant for the purchase of arms for fighting Boko Haram in the North East.

  1. Of what use is the education of these mallams? They use their education to impoverish the common men in the north albeit Nigeria. Haba this madness for richness is the frustration that gave birth to Boko Haram. SamE thing was done by some self appointed leaders of south south that brought up militancy. Where do we go from here?   2. Having been to Europe and America, I still tell anybody that Nigeria should have developed more than some countries in Europe and America but these evil people will not allow it
    to manifest. Their greed and gullible mind of wanting more riches and the extent of the
    poor will destroy them and follow them to the grave.....Judgement day is approaching and God is waiting for them

  4. This is absolute rubbish and injustice. These guys ought to be handcuffed through out the court processes. If it were to be ordinary citizens, they would never be this treated softly. God is definitely watching.
