Explosions, gunfire rock Maiduguri as Boko Haram battles Nigerian soldiers

Suspected members of the Boko Haram were on Sunday evening involved in a shoot-out with soldiers in Aladuwari village – about 2 km away from Maiduguri.

The attackers arrived the area at about 6 p.m. local time, it was gathered.


Also at about 8 p.m., two suicide bombers, believed to be females, detonated explosives near FOMWAN school in Jiddari area of Maiduguri.

The casualty figure from the explosions is yet to be ascertained at press time,

    You voted for Change for the worst which is filled with liars like lai(lie) Mohamed who said the BH have being technically defeated. If they have being defeated why are they still bombing? Where is the liar called Lai Mohamed. We need a press briefing to clear the air. I know he will deny ever saying that BH have being technically defeated. He will technically come up with another lie.
