In a press briefing at the end of the Council’s meeting presided over by Governor Ugwuanyi at the Government House, Enugu, the state Commissioner for Information, Dr. Godwin Udeuhele, noted that the grant would enable government to renovate some primary schools in the state that are in dilapidated state, among others.
According to the Commissioner, the council had also approved the award of contract for the construction of a bridge across Ebonyi River at Ikem to a reputable company, COMAG Construction Company.
