Supporters of the Director of Radio Biafra and leader of the indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday, grounded commercial and vehicular activities in Onitsha, the commercial nerve centre of Anambra State, in a bid to call for the immediate release of their leader, who is still reportedly being detained by the Department of State Services, DSS.
Motorists and commuters who were said to be leaving and entering the south-east, through the River Niger Bridge, in Onitsha, this morning, were held to standstill for over six hours, as members of IPOB in their thousands, barricaded the entry and exit routes of the Head Bridge.
An eye witness, Mr. Kelechi Amaeze, who was travelling from the south-east to Lagos on Friday, told revealed that thousands of travellers, including himself, were held to standstill at the Onitsha head-bridge owing to the protest, which members of IPOB had tagged, “One Million Match.”
It was also gahered from another account that IPOB protesters where already taking their demonstration into Asaba, the Delta State capital, but where stopped by security operatives in the state, who had already re-mobilised on getting a tip-off of the protest.
It was also gathered that the armed-to-the-teeth security operatives barricaded the exit point of the Head Bridge into Asaba with an Armoured Personnel Carrier, APC, to stop the irate protesters from gaining entry into the south-south region.

The protest which also reached the Ochanja area of Onitsha, saw one of the protesters allegedly shot dead by an accidental discharge from the shots of a soldier, in a bid to quell the raging protest.

A woman claiming to be the ex-girlfriend of Radio Biafra founder, Nnamdi Kanu has released a video in which she alleges that Kanu is a fraud.
Chioma Amaryllis, a former PR Coordinator for Radio Biafra, also alleged that the station is being used by Kanu to make money from Ndi-Igbo to sustain his playboy lifestyle.
Amaryllis said further that Kanu is the company director, treasurer and accountant of Radio Biafra and is in charge of all the money that comes in to the project.
“I am Chioma Amaryllis I live in the USA but I am from Mbaise in Imo State a proud Igbo Woman. I had a relationship with Nnamdi Kanu as he presented himself to me in the US as a single man,” she said.
She continues:
“I am telling the truth about Nnamdi Kanu & Radio Biafra as I saw it and closely witnessed. It is easy enough to live in Malaysia, China, Japan, Indonesia & donate money to Radio Biafra. @radiobiafralive is a BIG FRAUD developed by Nnamdi Kanu to make money from Ndi-Igbo using Biafra.”
“I bought and paid my ticket from the USA to Nigeria for Radio Biafra to see things for myself “I was donating my savings in the USA to Radio Biafra for defence & all forms of funds.”
“As Nnamdi Kanu’s girlfriend I went to Nigeria myself I wanted to see what Biafra was about. It is not enough for Ndi Igbo’s to get excited by someone you hear on the radio, verify. I don’t want Igbo’s in diaspora to believe me, buy your ticket like I did & see Nnamdi’s lies.”
“Go back home to Igbo Land and do your investigations, don’t be deceived. A lot of donations to Biafra went down the drain & I have a right to speak out because I contributed. IPOB is built on myth with no structure.
“I am unhappy people are being tricked to donate money using Biafra as a cover. Nnamdi Kanu told IPOB members he needed $8 Million to start the process to free Biafra. When Nnamdi Kanu asked for $8Million I took a step back knowing Ojukwu used his own money for Biafra.”
“Nnamdi Kanu travels on a dual Nigerian & British passports, he should at least let Igbos know. If you are telling people at home to risk their lives, at least let them know you have dual citizenship.”

No concorded story will stop us from given all it takes to restore BIAFRA. Buhari knowns it, if he (buhari) forget, he's sheky body languages will remind him.

Let the past be laid to rest and let us move on with the one Nigeria our father - Nnamdi Azikiwe fought for. We only need to be more united. Besides, If at all there is a need for Biafra, then it should be diplomatically handled.
