Pro Biafra protests are evil - Rev Fr. Mbaka

A Catholic Priest in Enugu, Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka has condemned the recent agitation and protests for Biafra nation describing the action as `evil.'

Mbaka made the condemnation in Enugu on Saturday in a sermon at his weekly Adoration Ministry.
The cleric urged youths in the South East and South-South to go back to their business as the protest could lead to their death.

"Locking up your shops and disrupting economic activities will not add any naira to your pocket, whatever grievance you have could be resolved through dialogue,'' the cleric said.

He lambasted those leaders that were behind the agitation and protests, saying that they should use their children for the struggle.

Mbaka commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing ministers from the zone and assigning them with good portfolios.

"President Buhari's action has proven that the South East has not been marginalized. I would have reacted if no minister emerged from the zone,'' he said.

He said that the five states in the zone had minister each as prescribed by the Nigerian constitution as well as other key security and protocol officers that serves under president and his wife.

The reverend father attributed the recent free health screening initiative by the Wife of the president, Mrs Aisha Buhari, in Enugu to her love for the people of the region.

He blamed the Igbo leaders for not living up to the expectation of the people in the area, adding that past governors, National Assembly members failed woefully in discharging their mandates.

"President Buhari is not the cause of poor roads, unemployment and other decay infrastructures in the south east, we should blame our leaders.

"Most of the roads had been awarded but our leaders squandered the fund, even the university teaching hospital in Enugu is a no-go-area and our leaders are not concerned about it," he said.
Mbaka called on the new Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, to use his office to employ youths in the zone, adding that it would stop what he called another Boko Haram in the south east if not curtailed.

He praised Buhari's war against corruption, saying it had enthroned due process and sanity in governance.

The cleric, however, urged Nigerians to be patient with the president as he had good plans for the country. (NAN)

    3. I decree in the Name of Jesus Christ, you curses are reversed back to your head according to Proverb 26:27. Where are you when the Bible said obey constituted authority? When Igbo leader rape your economy and deny Eastern states of good infrastructures was it the responsibility of FG. Didn't you learn from Fashola? Didn't you learn from late Musa Yar'adua as governor? The since of disobedience and rebellion is unto death!!! Read the Bible unbeliever. Emilia is right!!! Look at Igbo youth in all over the world prisons. Out of 100% of Nigerians in oversea prisons over 75% are Igbo men have you bother to ask your self why? It's your decayed value system, emphasis of making money and grabbing title at the expense of hardwork integrity and honesty.

  5. QUESTION FROM A YORUBA MAN AND ANSWER
    FROM A BIAFRAN.
A yoruba friend ask me: under what conditions would
you support One Nigeria and let go of the Biafra
    struggle.Here was my response:
    1. Close down Lagos ports and Open up PH,Calabar,
    Onitsha and Warri.
    2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to
Lagos and Abuja airports...only local or minimal
connecting flights will be allowed. Whilet his is being
done, open up Enugu, Owerri,Asaba, Uyo and PH to
    international flights...direct and major connecting
    flights.
    3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to
move their embassies and consulates from Lagos
and Abuja to Enugu, PH and Calabar.
    4. All federal governments’ agencies in Lagos
andAbuja shall be relocated to Enugu, PH
andCalabar. CBN, NNPC,e.t.c shall and must relocate
    to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
    5. All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja,
shall and must relocate their offices toPH, Calabar
    and Enugu.
    6. If these conditions can be fulfilled and
implemented, we can try one Nigeria and let's see if
you Hausas and Yorubas will like it for a month.
Meaning, Yorubas and Hausas needing to get visas
shall travel to PH, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same
with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping
    and importing their goods, e.t.c.
The yoruba friend replied: you can't be serious, this is
    wickedness.
I said really? Don't you think Biafrans have been
suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for
over 50 yrs? He was quiet for a few seconds and said:
wow, you are right but it never occurred to me. I
said, that's the problem with One Nigeria, those who
are benefiting love it and would love to maintain the
status quo.GOD BLESS BIAFRA ."Injustice anywhere is
a threat to justice everywhere." - Martin Luther King,
Jr. So tell me again mbaka, how r we not marginalised?

That video was an old video Mbaka made in response to the killings of Igbos in other state. and marginalisation. what he said was that..." if we are to have one Nigeria let's have one Nigeria if we are to have Biafra let's have Biafra"...in any case he did not take a stand. Get your fact right young man.

  8. I wouldn't know when the catholic church changed the function of their their priest from that of winning souls for GOD to that of political campaigners. If Mbaka wants to resign from being a priest to joining politic he should let us know, instead of opening his mouth for financial benefits. We know a Christian and a man of God when we see one.

    1. Father Mbaka is talking because he is comfortable... I now know him as a politician, hence I'm not interested these days on his words or preachings. And, his political sycophancy won't stop IPOB and friends of Biafra from the move towards actualisation of United States of Biafra.
