Several Nigerian youths have taken to the social media to demand the implementation of the N5,000 stipend promised by the APC-led government during the presidential campaign.
It can be recalled that the motion for the payment of N5, 000 monthly allowances to unemployed youths in Nigeria was rejected at the Senate yesterday by APC senators.
The motion which was sponsored by Philip Aduda (PDP, FCT) was greeted with shouts of “no, no” .

Sai Buhari how far ???? Nigerians have waited for good six months without any of these promises being fulfilled ??? How long more are gonna wait ??? Over to you sir
ReplyDeleteThe present Nigerian economic reality cannot support such an ambitious project. Moreover, without the National Assembly approving of it, appropriation cannot be made, so why not we focus on laying the groundwork for development before trivializing campaign promises? Similar if not worse campaign promises were made by PDP in the past, by the FG and state governments, such as that of loud-mouthed Godswill Akpabio who promised Akwa Ibom State one industry each for one LG.
ReplyDeleteMy friend please shit up if u dnt have anytin meaningful to say....didn't dey knw abt d economic situation b4 making dose bogus promises...rubbish....I just pity d gullible pple dat fell for dat 5k thrash and free meals...5k indeed...
DeleteCampaign promises can be likened to soliciting for sex. You beg till she accepts, after which you act up once done.
ReplyDeleteTypical Nigeria mentality at play here, most Nigerians are so shortsighted and can't really see beyond their noses.Campaign promises are not fulfilled the next day or few months after elections are won, things have to be put properly in place for some promises to be met and carried out.I am sure if the newly elected administration can recover lots of the embezzled cash from the ousted PDP Cabals and rogues now making noises about APC promises, things will be easier and promises kept. Most of the Nigerians criticizing the Buhari administration are the ones that has lost out from the benefits gained during the wasted thieving years of PDP
ReplyDeleteDats wat I expected to hear....in all,u must mention PDP....even when dere wife refuse dem sex,PDP is d cause...rubbish...
DeleteShut up! Liars!! APC!!!(Association of Professional Liars)
Delete" I am sure if the newly elected administration can recover lots of the embezzled cash from the ousted PDP Cabals and rogues now making noises about APC promises, things will be easier and promises kept". This your quote is exactly the problem. If they are hoping to raise enough money to fulfill their campaign promises by recovering only monies stolen by PDP members and turn a blind eye to their own party members this will fail. We must remember that funds accruing to the country are distributed 45% FGN, 35% States and 20% to local Govts. That means between the states and the local Govts, they have had 55% of the Nation's resources in the last 16 years and we know the States control the resources of the LGA in Nigeria. In addition, 5 PDP governors and several other ex-governors like Segun Oni, Oyinlola, Abubakar Audu and Timi Silva amongst others decamping to APC . So you can imagine the massive potential source of looted funds that would help this Govt that Buhari has chosen to ignore.
DeleteThese type of sub humans and his/her likes are the problems of Nigeria! Imagine indirectly advising the electorates never to hold their leaders accountable......such trash. You must really be delusional and suffering from brain fag to think PDP are the only ones who have looted and are guilty of corruption.......plz! excuse me and the APC saints.
DeleteI hope from the trend of reactions to the APC led CHANGE MANTRA, Nigerianeye will hide their head in disgust and shame for playing partisan politics with people that only care about their selfish interests! Shame on you!
ReplyDeleteBuhari is still the military dictator, you people who were confused into voting them in for 5k,all mortgaged your future and that of your children to the devil.these same people are the reason why a common Indian poor man can boldly tell a nigerian to back to his country, while ours is better than theirs.here in Canada, social security funds are so okay that one can decide not to work and still live comfortablely.i didn't waste time to tear my nija passport once I was issued another.bye bye nija with all the atrocities and suffering, make una dey wait for old man to come give una walking stick
ReplyDeleteMy dear am right behind you, Canada my destination....thanks to express entry.
Deletenow the PDP are the once implementing the APC manifesto in a budget that did not appropriate for the 5k package, a budget that was made by their ousted government, face the reality PDP your time is over allow this fellas to carry out what they have for us, beginning from January.... you cannot mislead us we would be patient till then.....after they must have cleared all the mess you left behind
ReplyDeleteMr. Anonymous, patient dog gets no bone in Nigeria in case you are still daydreaming. If this simple promise is not implemented then I see our so-called leaders taking us in an endless journey. For the sake of peace, progress, unity and stability of our belove country, let APC endeavour to make good its end of the promise. The so-called senates should let the poor masses be cos they know how much of Nigeria treasury is in their coffers. LONG LIVE NIGERIA!!!
