For the second time since he exited office on May 29, former president Goodluck Jonathan Monday visited his successor, President Mohammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja.
The meeting which held behind closed doors at the New Banquet Hall of the State House barely lasted for ten minutes.
Jonathan arrived at about 2.00 pm and left at 2.13pm after the meeting.
Though the reason for his visit was not disclosed, feelers said he may have visited to intimate president Buhari on the outcome of the election in Tanzania.
It would be recalled that the former President led the Commonwealth Election Observer Group to observe the conduct of the Tanzanian General election which held recently. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

ReplyDeleteU guys should learn to talk to elders. Let there be some respect at least.
ReplyDeleteBuhari can't corruption without the help of Western Countries. He depend on them to expose those with money in various account abroad. If UK hasn't exposed former petroleum minister believe you me that woman would still be living her normal life. EFCC should be given extreme power to go after corrupt politicians. If not for UK I don't see EFCC go close to Diezani house much more seizing her cars. If Obasanjo can walk on the corridors of Aso Rock and Amaechi cpnfirmed minister. I see no reason why Jonathan can't visit. Fighting corruption is not on media and front page of news papers at HBD magazines. Nigerians want to see actions.
ReplyDeletePresident Brouhaha lacks the wisdom and intellectual capacity (as he's not well educated) to critically x-ray and offer irrefutable evidence to prosecute his enemies on corruption. As such, his administration will be incapacitated to execute any case of corruption. However, he is highly gifted to carry out these prosecutions on media. Therefore, I ascertain that no corrupt politician will go to physical jail but media's. Quite unfortunate!
