Kogi State Governor Idris Wada has said he will defeat his main challenger in the November 21 election and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Prince Abubakar Audu.
He said he could not be intimidated by any candidate or human being.
Wada said: “In 2011, we ran against Audu of the then Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and defeated him. He is a human being, he is coming on the platform of a party. It will be a contest among parties, but individuals will play a role. It is up to the voters to decide whether they want to support someone with a gentle mien or someone with a tough mien. It is a choice people have to make.
“I don’t encourage violence and I try to work with sincerity, without too much propaganda to deceive people. So, after the campaign, people will know which party to support.
“Although APC won the presidential election, what will decide the poll is what have you done and what you can do more.
These will impact on the electorate differently. I believe in this election. Based on what we have in mind, by the grace of God, PDP will be victorious.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
