The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has described mercy of God as one of the major reasons the country has not witnessed another civil war amid the challenges confronting Nigeria.
Adeboye, who spoke during a special programme for the country, held under the theme, ‘Free Indeed,’ at the national headquarters of the RCCG in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, said that despite the frustrating circumstances in Nigeria, the country is still united due to God’s grace.
The cleric said it was possible for a country to witness freedom while its citizens would still be in bondage.
His words: “It is possible for a country to be free, but its citizens are not. Nigeria has been free for 55 years, but many of us are not free. If not for God’s intervention, Nigeria would have been in another civil war. Without His intervention in this land, we would not be experiencing peace. We should keep praying for His peace to reign.
“We should also keep praying for the President and the Vice President so that in the next one year, in a way we cannot explain it, Nigeria will be celebrated among the nations of the world. We should also pray for all states in Nigeria so that in the next one year, all of them will also be celebrated.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

Pastors and giving us false hope. We hear this all the time yet we still suffer.
ReplyDeleteMan of little faith, wake from your slumbe and go for Thanks Giving Service
DeleteMaybe you prefer Gowon that foresee danger ahead for Nigeria. Nigeria shall be celebrated. Let's all pray and change for the better in our own little way.
DeleteI don't think so.. . Because if God is in control of Nigeria...there will be no hardship... so it's the devil that's in charge of Nigeria government.. Don't try to deceive of us... Because we already know...
ReplyDeleteIt is the lack of faith and a mind full of doubt of people like you has has created a little space for the Devil.Believe today,God is not a man that he should lie!
ReplyDeleteBut the same bible tells us that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. 1John 5:19. That men will advance from bad to worse 2tim.3:13 but Christian should have hope in God's Kingdom that will destroy all the present kingdoms Dan.2:44. No wonder Ps.146:3 says we should not put our trust in the son of man or in princes who cannot bring salvation. I wonder which bible our pastors read encouraging ppl to put faith in what God has condemned.
ReplyDeleteThis Pastor has prophesied this so many times. What is special about Nigeria? He would say it is because of his prayer. He prayed for Cameron to win election, just as Fayose prayed for one governor to win an election. In fact, sycophants are major problems of the country. God is merciful to Nigeria just as He is to every other countries.
ReplyDeleteI want the defeated President to comment on Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye's words. This is because Ex-President is one of those that received prophecies of the same Pastor.
ReplyDeleteI remember when he a newspaper carried his picture kneeling down in front of the Pastor. He must have promised him 2nd term in office. The poor J. wasted Nigerian money bribing all crooks and rogues for their votes not knowing that the Creator of Nigeria knew he did not deserve the 2nd term.
PART 1.
ReplyDeleteWOW ! Again? That Nigeria is free. Right? Is Nigeria actually free? Which country or nation is free in the world? But to say Nigeria is free as a Pastor, tells me something, I think it tells me about the deception that is in RELIGION. Nigeria is not free in my judgment, and I may be wrong but I don't believe that Nigeria is free. We are praying for Nigeria to be free and it may become FREE eventually but I don't know, I only can pray and believe it. I said I don't know if Nigeria is going to be truly free because I don't know, I am only speaking by faith. If I know that Nigeria is going to be truly free, I wouldn't be using faith anymore BUT I know that those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are eventually going to be TRUELY FREE when they will no longer in anyway or by any means be under any pressure or bondage. I want Nigeria to be free like that and that is why I will continue to pray for Nigeria regardless. Are things going to be going better in the world? I think things are going to be going worse as we move closer to the end, and we are closer to the end now than we were last year 2014 and we are going to be closer to the end next year 2016 than we are this year 2015. Then when and how is it going to be better? It may be better for the believers in Jesus Christ who stand up on God's word and claim it for themselves but as a Nation, I don't know. Actually, it is possible for individuals to be better of than for a Nation because if those individuals know Jesus, it shall be better for them because, in famine, the God believers sowed and reaped a bountiful harvest. We Christians actually have freedom while the Nation Nigeria is not. May be Pastor Adeboye meant to say that Nigeria Christian individuals are FREE but the Nation Nigeria is not, but we are praying for that freedom right now Nigeria. Nigeria became independent in 1960 but if that is what Pastor E. A. Adeboye is talking about, then let me ask a question: "Is that freedom?" I don't think that independence is freedom in the sense he is portraying freedom. How many nations are free in the world? Are Nations free because they have their independence from other nations? The person that puts people and Nations in bondage is the devil and until any nation has freedom from the devil, that nation is not free or is in bondage yet. Sorry sir and I am not teaching you, just saying my mind sir. Even United States of America is not free but it also shall be free IJN by Faith. Freedom should be "without interference" but no nation is without the devil's interference throughout the whole world because this very world is under the governance of the devil at least for now, until Jesus comes back. We are being manipulated and controlled by so many evil forces (Both seen and unseen) as a nation and that is why Nigeria as a nation is what it is today. That is why so many Pastors are influenced by the devil to engage in evil, that is why Pastors can be bribed and Pastors also bribe other people. That is why there is a lot of jealousy even in the body of Christ, that is why we Pastors can't speak righteousness into the lives of our so called leaders because we are more corrupt even than the leaders themselves, that is why we can give our microphones and pulpits to these idolatry leaders to address our people in the name of Presidency, that is why God is holding us the Pastors responsible for a lot of these evils of the nation Nigeria, because we Pastors are supposed and put there by God to lead in righteousness but we have fallen. We are fallen to the extent that God is no more PROUD of us, we have walked away, every Pastor minding our businesses and things BUT have neglected the things for the very reason we are CALLED by God. WOW, this is so shameful. To be continued in part 2 which you should please read before you conclude.... Part 2. RADEO 11072015 @ 5:57 pm.

ReplyDeleteIs UK free? I would say NO. UK is not free, at least not truly free because there is a lot of domination and oppression in UK by the spirit world, I mean by the devil. And it is either you are free or you are not free, half freedom is no freedom. The only way any nation can be free is to be in CHRIST. Only righteousness can exalt a nation. Just look at the spiritual stage of UK today and do you call that freedom? The churches or buildings where the Precious and Powerful name of Jesus Christ was once called upon for miracles and salvation (As believed) are now being bought and converted to Mosques. Is that freedom? So, tell me where is this freedom that Pastor Adeboye is talking about, that exists in Nigeria and in some other nations of the world? Where is it? I AM NOT AGAINST PASTOR ADEBOYE BUT ONLY AGAINST WHAT HE SAID. And Pastor Adeboye said that Nigeria is united. Is that really true also? Is Nigeria united? Nigeria is together as a Nation but not united. If we are united, there wouldn't be a question of where the President is from or where the Vice President is from. There wouldn't be a quota system. The North MUST be represented, the Eastern faces MUST show up, there will be trouble if the South is not made something, be recognized, and be seen. Is this unity? I think unity will speak and ask better questions than that like, "Is the President a Nigerian?, Is the minister a Nigerian?" and as long as the answers to those questions are yes, then we are achieving unity but as long as we are still speaking of Biafra, Hausa, as long as we are still claiming for the Southerner to be properly represented, then there is yet no unity we think we have, it is all fake and deception. There will not be a question of people challenging and talking against President Buhari's choices of cabinet being majorly from the North as at when he first chose those he wanted to work with before the general list of ministers came out, based on the demography of the list. So what are you talking about sir, Pastor Adeboye? The Southerners were crying FOUL that the Southerners were robbed, after all the work they did to get him, President Buhari elected, because they wanted the Southerners to be seen, they wanted their faces to be recognized in that governance. Why? Because there is no unity. But we want to deceive the people with a false hope of unity. Sorry Daddy Adeboye, we are not buying this, we are not going for this, it is too CHEAP. Daddy, you said well when you asked us to be praying for our President and Vice President and bGg, we shall heed the call IJN. You said something that is also very TRUE and that is, Nigeria is still standing because God hands are holding it. And I pray that He will hold it in FULL IJN. God bless u sir IJN. Readers, if there are mistakes, please forgive me for them and for grammatical errors because I am not so smart except by God's grace. As always, again. RADEO Saturday 11072015 @ 5:58 pm.
