A Police Inspector’s wife in Ondo state, Wumi Omowa has been arrested for allegedly killing her husband, Israel.
The suspect was arrested by men of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in connection with the alleged murder of her husband.
It was gathered that the suspect stabbed her husband several times in different parts of his body when an argument ensued between them over a domestic issue.
The incident according to a reliable source happened at the couple’s residence located at Olu Foam area, along Ilesa-Owo highway in Akure.
The deceased Police Officer who was in his mid 30s reportedly married his wife four years ago and they were both living peacefully before the incident.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations officer (PPRO) Mr Femi Joseph said Omowa was confirmed dead at a Private hospital in Akure where his wife rushed him to after stabbing him. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday
