Former Nigeria skipper, Segun Odegbami , has blamed ex-FIFA executive committee member Amos Adamu and rival Orji Uzor Kalu for his failure to get the backing of other African countries in his quest to become the new FIFA boss.
Odegbami, who was endorsed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to run for the FIFA presidency in February, could not muster nominations from five African soccer federations by Monday’s deadline to enable him stand for the FIFA elections.
“Where were Amos Adamu and (Orji) Kalu yesterday (Monday)? It’s a Nigerian thing to bring down others,” africanFootball.com quoted Odegbami as saying on a radio interview monitored in Abuja Tuesday morning.
“Well, I have done my own bit and it is left for others to do theirs.”
Former Abia State Governor Kalu was linked with the FIFA presidential race, but he did not submit any documentation for his candidacy to the NFF.
The NFF therefore endorsed Odegbami at the weekend.
Adamu, who is now being investigated by the FIFA ethics committee, has publicly endorsed Kalu as the best candidate from Nigeria for the FIFA presidency. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

Adamu and Kalu are spoilers . Nigerians never love others progress. Odegbami stands a better chance.
ReplyDeleteYou have not heard Kalu's side of the story and you have started heaping judgment on him. That is the kind of Nigerians we are. It will be Kalu's utmost joy and to every Nigerians to have Segun become the FIFA president.

To create the perfect medical waiting rooms you will need to balance the space available with what your patients will need. You will need to make sure that your waiting room is comfortable but yet functional. Everything from the color of the walls to the decorations to the furniture will contribute to the overall feeling of the area. This is the room where new patients get the first impression of the practice. It is an area where they will enter into the office, wait to see the physician, pick up, or take a family member or friend, pay their bills, etc. Basically the idea medical waiting rooms are inviting, functional, and clean.
Odegbami the mathematical, pleases stop going bananas and blaming others for your failures and woes if you didn't do your home work well. How much do you know about lobbying? You mean you could''t even get five FAs in all Africa to endorse you. Pity and shame. To think we have about 54 FAs in Africa. WAO. My dear look inwards or elsewhere. JAY 2, Abuja.
ReplyDeleteMathematical Odegbami! God's time is the best. After all PMB waited for nearly 15 years to return to Aso rock; You time is coming. God bless you!
