Former Aviation minister, Femi Fani Kayode today took to his Facebook page to blast Ministerial nominee, Adebayo Shittu from Oyo state, who said he will not like to comment much on Boko Haram and their activities because he still has a family to cater for.
According to Shittu, the sect members have in time past killed anyone who spoke openly against them and so he wanted to be careful.

ReplyDeleteAdebayo Shittu has not demonstrated commitment to serving his country. As a Minister, you are taking an oath to serve Nigeria to the fullest. However, if you are too afraid to talk about issues destroying our nation, then you are not fit for office. Case closed.

ReplyDeleteSo truth can no more be said in the public. The man has first hand information of the situation. A minister is for entire country on certain aspect of the economy and therefore has to guard his utterances.
ReplyDeleteShittu should have been diplomatic in his answers, he should have just said the army is owing a great job and BH will be sorted in no time and the government should not shun dialogue. Shittu failed to display wisdom. He may not be BH sympathizer, but he is clearly weak. Those who can't take firm decision can not hold such office

The man was against the activities of Boko haram that it is against the teachings of Islam. He said they are not muslims. What do you want him to say? Tell me. Is it a crime for someone to be steadfast in his belief. I won't be suprised if you or your relatives are not part or sponsors of Boko Haram all to tarnish the image of Islam. You are just jealous of the man all because he is a muslim. Go and die, he is now a minister of FRN.
