Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and a former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Some reporters had approached the former President for details of the meeting but he snubbed the journalists that approached him.
“No, No, joor”, he said in Yoruba dialect.
President Buhari had on August 21 named the former President as his Special Envoy to mediate and help find a solution to the crisis brewing in Guinea Bissau.
The meeting came on the same day the Senate started a probe of the Nigerian Power Sector, covering the regimes of former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, late Umaru Yar’adua and former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The reason is obvious he just went to bribe his way out because of the impending probe of the power sector. This will serve as a litmus test for Buhari's probe action.
ReplyDeleteBuhari's hands are tied. His willingness is not in doubt but there are rogues all around him.
ReplyDeleteSame way Jonathan' hands were tied. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. He is the president the world is watching.
