A Nigerian pastor based in Ghana who simply identified himself as Pastor Paul has declared that Dele Momodu, the founder of Ovation Magazine, is the next Ooni of Ife.
The pastor warned that if Momodu was not installed as Ooni of Ife there would be bloodshed in the country, he also added that, his proclamation was a prophecy he got from God.
In a telephone conversation with Bayo Onanuga, the CEO of PM News/TheNews he said: “If the Ife people refuse to crown Momodu, there will be bloodshed,” the Pastor said.
But Onanuga disagreed with him, saying: “Although Dele Momodu was born in Ife, his connection is as near as Gbongan and as far as somewhere in Edo State.”
Momodu a graduate of University of Ife, (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife) 1982, holds a degree in Yoruba and a master’s degree in English Literature in 1988.

Mr Pastor, You saw DM as the next Ooni. If DM is not crowned, there will be blood shed. Can you tell us exactly what you saw? Is either you saw DM as the Ooni or you saw blood in the country and not both. Of course, that the blood of innocent Nigerians are crying to high heavens is no longer news, Boko Haram in the north east, Fulanis/farmers in the north central, cultists,ritualist, kidnappers in the south, armed robbers in every nook and cranny of our dear country. So that you saw blood is right, the only thing I want you to know is that, God has not given up on us, so He will not only spare us any further spilling of blood, but he will stop all the ongoing in no distance time and shall console us by making us a strong and united nation where His peace shall reign. ReplyDeleteThere is one thing to see a vision and there is another to interpret the vision correctly. There is also the need to confirm if the vision is from God or from Satan, taking into account the fact that Satan sometimes transforms himself into an angel of light to deceive a lot of people. This is the mistake some Pastors do. They need to confirm the correctness and genuiness of the source of a vision before revealing it.
