President Muhammadu Buhari and his delegation were not present at a United Nation’s meeting to discuss and proffer solution to the problems of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
The United Nations, Chad, Niger and Cameroon appealed on Friday for help for millions of people in the Lake Chad Basin region forced to flee the violence of Boko Haram and hit with repeated droughts and floods that have brought malnutrition and disease.
US and European Union diplomats said they were disappointed that Nigeria did not attend the event chaired by United Nations aid chief Stephen O’Brien on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

How will Nigeria improve if all we do is profer lame excuses instead of accepting where we are wrong and being determined to correct lapses? This is disgraceful!!
ReplyDeleteLolzzzzzzzz, where were they during the meeting?can any excuse be accepted? This shows that boko haram issue has something fishing, same way Buhari and APC refused to attend security meeting with GEJ last year,Nigeria army is accusing Northern elders and politicians of sabotage, Gej said it the other day and some Nigerian fools nailed him now we are praising Buhari for doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteConfused President and confused delegates....Till now, this old man has not done a thing to better the economy of Nig,he only comes on media to shout "i vow to do this or that"..and the economy is seriously going down everyday...Media president...
ReplyDeleteNote: On the sidelines of the United nations general assembly. We must not dissipate energy and loose focus please. Ask PMB his reason first
ReplyDeleteBecuz its pmb,u can comfortably say we shuld ask him his reasons....if its someone else,u wnt gve a chance....myopic reasoning...
DeleteReading some comments made here really shows why PDP was able to take Nigerians for a ride. Some Nigerians can't tell what is good from bad which does reflects in the way they plan and live their lives like a rolling stone that kept rolling directionless and without motives.Any educated human with understanding of the United Nations will know how the organisation and the countless meetings during the annual convention works but obvious the lousy failures amongst Nigerians who can't tell left from right would just make noises at whatever given chances without full understanding of the case at hand
ReplyDeleteYou have said nothing.
DeleteWhat are you saying my dear?
DeleteYou have said nothing. Your comment is meaningless. Boko Haram issue is one big problem the country is facing at the moment. Why Nigeria did not attend ghetto meeting? Instead of you go against it or support it. You came here to waste your data. Anyways. Let wait to hear from Buhari to ascertain why he was absent from such crucial meeting.
DeleteThe three of you just confirmed my comment.Personally I wouldn't waste precious time with you three if your reasoning level is not able to read and understand what I meant
Deletemmmmm......if it were to be GEJ this page would have been filled with insult and nobody would have said otherwise, people are trying to state things as they are and someone is angry. there is God oooooo.is our president a god not to be criticise?
