The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the PDP’s rambling statement on the nation’s economy as part of the opposition’s ploy to distract the Buhari Administration from its onerous task of putting the nation on a sound footing.
In a statement issued in Lagos on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said the PDP’s statement was a litany of delusional self praise, rather than a genuine concern about the nation’s well being.
”The question the PDP should ask itself is that if it had laid a solid foundation for the economy in its 16 years in charge, could such a foundation have given way in just three months of a new Administration?
”If the PDP had been as fantastic as its statement had portrayed, it would still be the ruling, rather than the opposition party that it is now.

I have not laughed in months so permit to laugh a bit now. APC, APC, APC, what is it that is expected of you in three months that you did not promise to doom three months ? When You promised to make $1 equal to N1, I knew that brainlessness is trying to take over from sane and brainy people. Such is determined by many factors one of which is the state of your economy, predicated on your export vis a vis your import . And someone just decreed it will be equated. Now it is coming to pass. All the accolades that are being showered on you now are roots planted and nurtured by the past government. Where are they chibok girls you promised to let your guys release within three months? Other countries are diversifying their economies because they saved up when the oil boom was on. What did we get from the last administration? Looting!!!
Obj left above $60B, oil boom was at its peak in Jonathan's 6 year reign but he left less than $30B at his exit.
It's a shame that the Metuh's of this country can still raise their heads. If they had saved up our collective riches, Buhari would have moved faster than he had in the last 3 months.
Not that Buhari has all the answers but may God take us out of this doldrums of clueless political leaders.

Stupidity of some Nigeria and deliberate gullibility as shown above is the reason why Nigeria is almost in this state of comatose. 16 yrs of consistent unrepentant and satanic rape of Nigeria's economy is too dangerously long and bad enough to resuscitate Nigeria in 3 month. PMB is fighting so hard to stop the bleeding of resources , put the nation on oxygen mask of image laundry so as to attract foreign investment; and to rehabilitate it also by empowering organs of government and institutions so that it will boost her immune system to deal with corruption and you think it's a fluke?
