Rivers governor, Mr Nyesom Wike, has said his administration will continue sponsorship of Christian and Muslim Pilgrims to their respective Holy lands.
Wike made this known at the inauguration of the State Christian and Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards in Port Harcourt.
He said that the dwindling state resources was not an excuse to stop sponsoring Nigerians, adding that pilgrimage was necessary for spiritual growth of the people.
“Rivers government will continue to sponsor pilgrims in view of the importance Nigerians place on their religious faith.
“However, the number of people to be sponsored on pilgrimages would be reduced in line with dwindling state resources.
“My administration will continue to promote religious harmony and support Muslims because of our belief in religious diversity,” he said.

Very useless wike which spritual development of faith, masses are suffering can not be afford to feed themselves three square mail. And want used the state money means for road, water supply, health, education etc. to sponsor for holy land. Openly You shown your wickedness and eager to siphons the Rivers treasury. We prayed to God to bring an end to this unfocused, unplanned and bad character government.

That's one of his means of stealing money, that's what PDP is known for. No comment on PDP governors, we know them.
ReplyDeletePeople get the government they deserve. Rivers State opted to have a tout lead them. They should accept the consequences and not complain. Clearly, this man has no sense of direction or focus.
