Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare fumbles as Fraser-Pryce wins 100m gold at the 2015 IAAF World Championships

Nigeria’s star athlete, Blessing Okagbare failed to win a medal in the final of the 100 metres race in Beijing China today.

Blessing, though posted fourth fastest time in the heat, came last in the pack of eight athletes, that was led by Jamaica’s Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, with a time of 10.76.

Dutch runner and European champion, Daffne Schippers came second in a time of 10.81 seconds, with America’s Toni Bowie snatching the bronze ahead of Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell-Brown.

Okagbare's 11.02 finish is a far cry from her season’s best of 10.84 seconds.

  5. Blessing needs to work on how she comes out of the block, she starts very slow Infact others were like three to four steps ahead of her before she realized her self. She really need to work on the way she start her race.
