President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero.
The termination of Alhaji Bayero’s appointment is with immediate effect.
A statement by the presidential spokesperson, Mr. Femi Adesina directed Bayero to hand over the management of the NPA and all government property in his possession to Mr. Habibu Abdullahi who has been reinstated as Managing Director of the NPA by President Buhari.

Buhari should please focus on work and forget all these acts of vengeance by sacking and reinstatement. People are dying of hunger and he is busy listening to the likes of Sanusi and Tinubu.

PMB has made it very clear that he will only allow competent people to man the affairs of the various MDA's and nothing less. You sound like a rusty old can of sardine with your unsubstantiated accusation of PMB. You mentioned that he should focus on work and that is what he is doing by making sure the foundations with which efficiency, competency and results are properly laid.

DeleteWe all know how Mr. Habibu Abdullahi was sacked and that position was use to compensate Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero for losing out from the Emirship of Kano bcoz GEJ was having a running battle with Alhaji Sanusi Lamido for the disclosure of the missing $20b. So his appointment never follow due process.
