14 die in auto crash on Benin-Ore-Lagos Expressway

About 14 people lost their lives while two others were injured in a fatal motor accident on Benin-Ore-Lagos Expressway at Akinfosile Area in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State on Wednesday.
According to the Head of Operations of the State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Akin Adedipe, the accident which occurred at about 4pm involved a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number AYB287XA, belonging to God is Good Motors and a trailer with registration number : MGA 26AX which belonged to Dangote Transport Company ..
Adedipe explained the deceased included 11 males, two females and one little boy whose identities were unknown as of the time of filing this report.
It was gathered that the accident occurred as a result of over speeding and reckless driving on the part of the drivers of the vehicles involved.
The FRSC officer stated that the deceased had been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital, Ore while the injured were also receiving treatment there.
Some of the items recovered from the vehicles, according to Adedipe included, four sim cards, eight ATM cards, a sum of N39,699.00 and other personal effects.

ReplyDeleteFRSC,you mean that all the deceased passengers had no phones with them, but only sim cards and ATM cards, God help Nigerians. Do we need GMB to change this as well?.
