Mr Iysa Siddique, Chief Imam, Murdeer Madhu-Salam Arabic and Islamic Institute, on Wednesday called on Nigerians to desist from immorality as the signs of the last days were evident. Siddique told newsmen in Lagos that Nigerians needed to draw closer to God and remain in faith.
He admonished everyone to eschew everything capable of soiling the image of God. The Imam said a sign of the last days was that one-eyed individuals will be borne, hence he urged everyone to stay righteous, generous, pray and give alms. “Everyone should stay in tune with the Almighty God by giving alms and praying five times daily.
“The signs of the last hour is evident now. “In Israel, we have cases of people giving birth to one eyed babies, which was written in the holy book as a sign of the last hour.
“Also fornication and adultery are now the order of the day, people no longer see nudity as an act of immorality. “We have Pastors and Imams behaving contrary to the word of God; all these are signs of the last hour,’’ he said. DeleteIs it the one that confessed in your Coran that he is not even sure where he is going? My brother don't be deceived. Mohammed in Sourate 49:6 said he does not where he is going. Jesus Christ was confident of who he was and where he going. He said in John thatn he is the way, the light and no one cometh to the father except through him.
