Suspected thugs and supporters of the All Progressives Congress on Tuesday disrupted proceedings at the 8th Katsina State House of Assembly inauguration.
The event, which was slated for the Assembly complex along Kaita Road, could not hold because of the rowdy environment on the floor of the House.
It was gathered that the commotion was as a result of the agitation of the supporters on who would emerge as the next Speaker of the Assembly.
The confusion in the Assembly chamber led to the abrupt postponement of the proceedings till 4pm today(Tuesday).
