The Vice Chancellor, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumini, Port Harcourt, Prof. Rosemund Dienye Green-Osahogulu, has been abducted by known gunmen who took her to unknown destination.
A statement issued on Friday by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Ikem Adiele, and made available to The Nation, said the Vice Chancellor was kidnapped on Thursday along Okocha road in Port Harcourt.
The statement said the gunmen have not contacted the institution’s management or the Vice Chancellor’s family on her whereabouts.
