The crisis rocking Ekiti State worsened on Wednesday as major roads leading into the state capital, Ado-Ekiti, have been barricaded by thugs.
NE gathered from a witness that the thugs blocked the olasore side and Efon alaye section of the express road.
Also, the Ikere section of the Akure-ado express road was also barricaded by thugs.
According to the eyewitness, some of the thugs said the roads will not be opened until 4pm today.
It is believed that the move was in response to Governor Ayo Fayose’s call for Ekiti people to take to the streets to save him from being impeached by state lawmakers.
All Progressive Congress lawmakers have threatened to remove the governor.
The Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Fayose’s party, had also said its members will mobilize and resist any plots by the lawmakers to impeach the governor. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

Fayose, your thugs can not save you neither is PDP. Just admit and give them what they want. When you and your so-called PDP members where attacking GMB during your campaign, you have forgotten that one day you will be a victim of their time.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they are finding it difficult to impeach this bastard
ReplyDeleteIf Fayose has no cockroach in his cupboard, why is he worried?
