Niger Delta ex-militants, under the aegis of Justice Group, have said that their survival may be in grave danger, should President Muhammadu Buhari scrap the amnesty programme. Leader of the ex-militants, David Owhegbe, who spoke yesterday in Jesse, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, said:
“Since the government of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has completely failed us and the nation in general in its 16 years rule, we were already thanking God when the All Progressives Congress, APC, administration came with the change slogan.
“We felt that relief had come to the masses of Nigeria and we have now been liberated from the bondage of ill administration, until we started hearing of the issue of scrapping the amnesty. If President Muhammadu Buhari goes ahead to scrap the amnesty programme, it means majority of us will die from starvation.
“We beg the president not to scrap it because it will adversely affect us and our families.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

You are stupid to beg the president if you don't know your right...meanwhile the source of wealth is from your backyard and you are begging?
ReplyDeleteYou must be insane
That is the right word to describe the action of this ex-militant, "STUPIDITY" . He is even a confused fellow. How could he has said that PDP government failed them when it was the same administration that brought them out of the creek and gave them a new lease of life. Was it not the same PDP government he termed "failed" that established the amnesty program he is stupidly begging Buhari not to scrap? I don't know the reason why some people should open their mouth and say things without a careful thought or analysis.
DeleteThat same govt that you claim has failed you is the same govt that recognised your struggle and established the Amnesty programme without your begging.....
ReplyDeleteWhat did the ex-militants achieve with their amnesty? Is this programme a programme for life? All good things must come to an end....
ReplyDeleteDalington Iyke or what do u call ur name? I think u are the one stupid. If the source of wealth is in their backyard, then they should go and drink it. U need to be thought law and order and how a country works. Their community should be developed and not the paying of some miscreants salary for doing nothing yet the government cries everyday of lack of fund. Why don't they go and hold their corrupt leaders to vommit all the money paid for various infrastructural development.
ReplyDeleteCheck this guy out, He is not a true Niger-Delta person. Begging Buhari for what?
ReplyDeleteDarlington Iyke you are the very stupid one ode
