Nigerians have condemned All Progressives Congress chieftain, Pat Utomi over his remark that the threat by Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu was a joke. The king had threatened that anyone, especially Igbos that fails to vote Akin Ambode of APC in Lagos will die in the lagoon within seven days.
The respected Professor of political science and politician Prof. Pat Utomi had earlier shared his thoughts on Twitter about the Oba of Lagos recent remarks to Igbos.
Utomi stated that the Oba just made a joke.

However some Nigerians have condemned Pat Utomi maintaining that the Oba of Lagos meant business whith his 'hate comment' about Igbos in Lagos.

ReplyDeleteThe Oba comes from a bloodline that sold millions of his own people into slavery along with many other so called royal highnesses. To dump another tribe of people into the sea will give him a warm sensation of joy to share with his royal ancestors. He blundered by being honest that he has total contempt for democracy ànd cares nothing for any people beyond his big ego.

ReplyDeleteA leader who makes such statement is either senile or out of their mind....the Igbo are undeniably major contributors to the swift economic growth obtainable in Lagos state today. Only for one outdated and misguided fellow to come out and make such a racial, mediocre and dehumanizing statement....he must be a joker...moreover, I'm sure the constitution carries a section with the freedom of choice and expression clause
ReplyDeleteSome people are just bunch of fault finders. The Prof is in order with his comment. What he was trying to say is that the Oba should not be taken serious as nobody has commend his outburst on the Igbos. It was his entirely personal opinion.
