Nigerian players, Ebenezer Odunlami and Prince Aggrey, who both play for Sunshine FC have been suspended and fined for their awkward goal celebration in Sunday’s Nigeria Premier League game.
The League Management Company has handed Sunshine Stars’ Ebenezer Odunlami and Prince Aggrey a one-match ban and also fined N50,000 for their weird goal celebration against Dolphins in Sunday’s Nigeria topflight game.
The duo celebrated their side’s winning goal against the Port Harcourt based outfit by pulling off their jerseys and shorts to the dismay of the league organisers.
“SunshineFC "strippers", Prince Aggrey and Ebenezer Odunlami face one-match ban and N50K fine for MD4 dopey show” The LMC wrote on their Twitter handle.
With this sanctions, both players will miss the Akure Gunner’s top of the table clash against league defending champions Kano Pillars. Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

Show of shame.
ReplyDeleteI am so embarrassed.
DeleteVery embarrassing!
DeleteJust Mad!
ReplyDeleteIf a white man did it in the premiership or somewhere else in europe, everyone would embrace it. Now a black man did it and some of you are ashamed. Are they naked? NO. I think it's over the top, but not that far over the top. If Christiano Ronaldo did it, just like he shows off his tangerine muscles from time to time, some of you would hail him.
ReplyDeleteThey don't deserve to pay any fine
