Labour party candidate, Alao Akala campaigns with Buhari picture, Governor Ajimobi fumes

With the victory and growing popularity of the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, some opposition parties are said to be using his picture to canvass for votes in the April 11 governorship election.

Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has frowned at the circulation of the posters in some parts of the state describing it as a sheer fraud.

Lapour party candidate, Akala campaigns with Buhari's picture
Ajimobi alleged that the campaign posters were discovered in Bodija and other parts of Ibadan which bore the pictures of Gen. Buhari, Ladoja and Alao-Akala with ‘Sai Buhari, Sai Akala’ boldly written on them.

Akala is the governorship candidate of Labour Party.

According to Governor Ajimobi, it was obvious that virtually all the opposition parties in the state worked for President Goodluck Jonathan, attacked General Buhari in the build-up to the presidential election and should therefore desist from deceiving the people by claiming to be in support of the president-elect.

  2. The madness continues. All APC can do is to disown the piece of thrash. That will put a nail on Akala's coffin.
