Anti-impeachment protest erupts in Ado Ekiti

Fresh reports reaching NE reveal that a massive protest has erupted in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, against moves by a faction of the State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Ayodele Fayose over allegations of gross constitutional breaches.

Sources say there is high presence of heavily-armed security operatives in strategic locations in the town, while entry routes have been blocked and taken over by security operatives. It is also reported that some of security agents had been stationed around the House of Assembly complex.

    1. You're the most stupid and you lack common sense of justice. When Fayose in conjunction with federal/security agent pursue the 19 APC law makers out of Ekiti what was your restrictions? 7 lawmakers have been legislating for him is that what the constitution says. Why are you people so myopic.

  7. Each time Mr Fayose faces litigation there is always a protest mob. They say it is because he is the choice of the people, even when he lost senatorial election some years ago. But how do we explain the recent rigging scandal tape. Fayose is a dubious character. The electorate had no choice when they voted him in to replace Fayemi. A wiser PDP would not have faced the ordeals the governor is facing now.
