Fresh reports reaching NE reveal that a massive protest has erupted in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, against moves by a faction of the State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Ayodele Fayose over allegations of gross constitutional breaches.
Sources say there is high presence of heavily-armed security operatives in strategic locations in the town, while entry routes have been blocked and taken over by security operatives. It is also reported that some of security agents had been stationed around the House of Assembly complex.

ReplyDeleteGod will save Ado-Ekiti for us in Jesus Name
ReplyDeleteEkiti the rice people. APC is trying to save you people from that demon called Fayose. As long as they follow the law, I will be very glad to see Fayose impeached
ReplyDeleteFayose will be impeached. This paid protest won't help him.
ReplyDeleteHow can some of us be making dese comments?do you guys have sense at all?Fayose contested and won all 16 LGAs,APC accused of rigging, went to court and and Fayose won, same has repeated itself in d last election,APC lost same 16 LGAs,so is DAT a rigging also?all dese APC lawmakers left Ekiti for over 5 mths and wants to suddenly impeach d gov,ApC is looking for trouble and wen it starts everybody will be blaming Fayose. This should stop now.
ReplyDeleteYou're the most stupid and you lack common sense of justice. When Fayose in conjunction with federal/security agent pursue the 19 APC law makers out of Ekiti what was your restrictions? 7 lawmakers have been legislating for him is that what the constitution says. Why are you people so myopic.

ReplyDeleteWhen a mad person is performing the madness in the market place many will like to watch but the relations will not be happy.any attempt to stop the action will be rejected by those who love madnes because they are equal
ReplyDeleteEach time Mr Fayose faces litigation there is always a protest mob. They say it is because he is the choice of the people, even when he lost senatorial election some years ago. But how do we explain the recent rigging scandal tape. Fayose is a dubious character. The electorate had no choice when they voted him in to replace Fayemi. A wiser PDP would not have faced the ordeals the governor is facing now.
