The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Kano, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has emerged winner of the governorship election in the state garnering 1,546,434 votes to beat the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Malam Salihu Takai, who polled 509,726 votes.'
In the State Assembly poll, the APC won all the 44 available seats in the Assembly, leaving the PDP with no seat.
