General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Maiduguri, Maj.-Gen. Lamidi Adeosun, has said in spite of challenges, terrorism will not defeat the Nigerian Armed Forces.
Adeosun, who spoke when he received a team of newsmen on tour of communities recently recaptured from the Boko Haram insurgents in his office in Maiduguri, vowed that the military would defeat the insurgents.
“Terrorism will not define the Nigerian Armed Forces.
“The armed forces of Nigeria will define the space that is Nigeria and recover every inch of our territory and ensure that terrorism is defeated in our land,” he said.
The GOC promised that the 7 Division which is at the “epicentre” in the fight against terrorism would live to its responsibility.
“There has been so much skepticism about the performance of the Nigerian army in particular, and the armed forces of Nigeria, generally.
“We all know that there are challenges everywhere but challenges are meant to be surmounted.
“We will continue to do the needful using what we have and what is available to effectively deliver the goods and restore our territorial integrity,” he said.

Reuters is reporting that hundreds of mercenaries have been brought into Nigeria from South Africa and Russia to fight Boko Haram. It is reported that they are being paid $400 per person per day in cash to defeat Boko Haram before March 28. Obviously this is a politcally motivated move by our deceiver president. So what happens after March 28, that's the question.
