The event, which held at the National Stadium, attracted people from all parts of the state including representatives of professional groups, traders and artisans.
Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, National Vice Chairman of TAN Speaking at the forum, said the gathering was convened to tell Nigerians that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock till 2019.
He further said that his group would do whatever it takes to ‘’liberate the people of Lagos State.’’
Similarly, the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Mr Jimi Agbaje promised to run a fair and open administration, adding that everybody irrespective of tribe and religion would have a say in his government.
Agbaje also urged Lagosians not to cast their vote for the APC, adding that PDP is the only party that is interested in the welfare of Nigerians.
The crowd later moved out of the National Stadium on a street to street sensitization march along the busy Ikorodu road and some major streets in the neighborhood.
This sensitization march however turned violent as thugs who support the PDP vandalized vehicles and robbed it occupants of Phones, Money and other Items.
Over 70 Vehicles were reportedly vandalized in areas around the National Stadium, Palmgrove and Costain.
Ikorodu road was also littered with thousands of Jonathan/TAN fliers.

This writer is biased. It was APC thugs that did all that rubbish. PDP/TAN cannot attack the same Lagosians that they are seeking their votes.
ReplyDeleteYou are very naive about what is going on in Lagos, don't you know that PDP are only using thugs at their rally, this miscreant hardly get satisfy on their dues and seize the opportunity to make more.
DeleteJimi you have failed woefully. Is this what you are all about? This is a shame.
ReplyDeleteMr Jimi, you are making a very big mistake by aligning yourself with the wrong people all in the name of politics you are dividing Lagos state along ethnic line too bad for you.
ReplyDeleteGood talk
DeleteEven a car that from all indications was bashed from behind by another car is shown as one vandalized too. Grand deception!. It must be the opposing parties or hoodlums that may have attacked the people.not those asking the people for their votes.
ReplyDeleteNigerianeye trying desperately hard to paint Pdp in bad light! Pity
DeleteSince the beginning of these campaigns PDP have been the ones known to have employed the works of these thugs and in the process killed a couple of APC supporters especially on Lagos island . This shouldn't be an act taken up by the supposedly government that promises peace!
ReplyDeleteSome of you are mad simply put. I'm a victim of this madness. The last time we had it this bad in Lagos was in 1999 during the rumoured dead of former president Obasanjo.
ReplyDeleteWith this the president will be shocked on Saturday.
ReplyDeletehmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!! Na Waooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo for fdf
ReplyDeleteAre these the transformation ambassadors they have been talking about? We now know how desperate this president is. This will definitely make him lose more votes
ReplyDeleteIf APC is attacked it is PDP thugs and when PDP is attacked it is still PDP thugs abi APC no get thugs. Let us be truthful just for once as lies will lead us nowhere. We live in Lagos and we are watching everything happening
ReplyDeleteDon't mind them! Party born on the altar of lies, deceit and propaganda! nigerianeye try harder!
DeleteAPC means ASSOCIATION OF PERPETUAL CRIMINALS. The name of their spokesman is Mr. lie M. Nigerians VOTE wisely. Do not vote for CRIMINALS.
DeleteI want to advise LAWMA to prepare and hand either TAN or Jona the invoice for cleaning the streets of our adorable state that their thugs came to deface.
ReplyDeleteIf Lagos was that bad looking, would they have come to share whatever stupid thing they came to share?
All those supporting GEJ, my one and only prayer is that Almighty God will make your lives and those of your children and their own unborn children, throughout ur lineage forthwith like Nigeria under Jonathan. If you truly love gej, say a resounding amen!
Well for now, PDP is the party that empowers OPC that's almost become a forgotten cult by people of Lagos. Now they are armed, rich and bolder. God help us.
ReplyDeleteI have personally witnessed similar incident when Mr President visited Lagos on Sept 20th, 2014. We were trapped in traffic for 3hours around Onikan stadium where the rally held and thugs unleased mayhem snatching bags and phones from cars holding knives and clubs. I was terrified and wondered Mr president is just 100meter away with all the security yet such fear and insecurity could be launched on his citizens few meters away.
ReplyDeleteEvery time PDP is having any political activity, APC will unleash violence around there and scream that PDP is the one. We know all you pranks and we will tell you how much we know the evil you been doing,in less than 48hrs with our PVC.
ReplyDeleteAPC,PROFESSIONAL PROPAGANDISTS!
