The meeting brokered by the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections, led by Gen. Abdusalami Abdusalami (retd.), is meant to extract commitment from the leading candidates that the forthcoming elections will be violence-free.
They signed the document under the supervision of Abdusalami shortly after emerging from a closed door meeting.

ReplyDeletewhere is Jonathan's wife
ReplyDeleteKudos goes to the President who has continued to display calm maturity and humility. Not every sitting president and commander in chief would agree to sign a peace accord just to assure people that elections would be free and he would respect the wishes of voters. This President is not given the kudos he deserves. The fact that APC is supporting the retention of Jega who has consistently held relatively free and fair elections is a remarkable testimony to the sincerity of this President even with his shortcomings.
ReplyDeleteYes i give kudos to Jonathan too is a man of humility and a peaceful man
