Unidentified gunmen have again disrupted the rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, although no life was lost.
The unidentified gunmen over-ran the venue for the APC ward rally at Elioparanwo in Obio/Akpor LGA, yesterday, shooting in different directions. Some people were injured. They invaded the venue of the APC rally in the morning hours after the wards that were to play host to the governorship candidate had concluded arranging the scene.
A source who witnessed the shooting said the boys took their victims unawares and shot directly into the crowd, and four people where found in the pool of their blood on the group after the shooting.
In a similar development, a man alleged to be an APC member was feared dead at a community in Eleme, Eleme Local Government Area.
A source which communicated the incident to newsmen alleged that the young man was feard dead after he was attacked by gunmen.
