A co-pilot of the Germanwings plane which crashed Tuesday killing 150 people, deliberately flew the plane to its fatal ending on the mountaintops in the French Alps, a prosecutor heading the criminal investigation said Thursday.
The revelation came after the prosecutor established from flight recording that one of the pilots was locked out of the cockpit before it crashed.
The pilot had left the cockpit, and was disallowed from entering, the prosecutor, Brice Robin, said.
The co-pilot then began the plane’s descent for an unknown reason while he was alone in the cockpit, Mr. Robin said.

ReplyDeletelets us not start blaming the co-pilot for now, what we should do now is to investigate why the captain was locked out of the culpit. again sometimes, captains do act funny by going contrary to what the manual says. and them being the boss man, they they smetimes don't take the co-pilot's words.pls i would suggest thorough investigation before scolding the co-pilot. from my experience as the manager on duty on adt faithful day of june 3rd of dana airline MD83 with 140 SEATER that has 7-infant, 2-pilots, i-engineer, 12-bussiness class. this flight alone made me to understand that some captains acts stupid attimes.
