Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has called on Nigerians, especially Northern leaders to save the All Progressives Congress Candidate, Gen. Muhamadu Buhari (retd.), from former Lagos State Governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, and his cabal in the APC.
The governor, who said he was worried that Tinubu and his cabal were pushing Buhari too much because of their selfish interests, pleaded that, “Nigerians should appeal to Tinubu and his cabal to allow Buhari attend properly to his health.”
The Governor, in a statment on Sunday, through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said “Since last week Thursday that Buhari appeared for less than two hours at the Chatham House where he said his doctors certified him fit and that he was returning to Nigeria for the ‘final onslaught on the PDP,’ he has simply disappeared from public glare.”
“Isn’t it strange that someone who is contesting an election in 28 days time could afford to stay outside the country for going to two weeks?
“Buhari confessed that he actually saw his doctors, why did the APC cabal lie that he never visited any hospital, even going to the ridiculous and criminal level of using pictures taken in Abuja to authenticate claim that Buhari had a television interview in London?
“Like I have maintained, the same cabal that were involved in the Yar’Adua saga are also involved in the packaging of Buhari and Nigerians must save the man from these people, who are only interested in using him to assume power.”
While maintaining that Buhari was not the candidate of the North, Fayose asked, “Shouldn’t it interest Nigerians, especially the northerners that only Malam Nasir El-Rufai was a notherner among those who attended the last Thursday arrangee Chatham House event?
“During the APC primary, delegates from the North voted for former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso. Only delegates controlled by Tinubu, Governor Rotimi Amaechi and Senator Bukola Saraki voted for Buhari.”
He added that, “In appreciation of Tinubu’s role, Buhari gave him (Tinubu) the sole right to choose his running mate, with Tinubu still being rumoured to be interested in the Vice President position that he gave his surrogate, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.
“Also, the APC confirmed yesterday that Buhari’s campaign is being funded by Tinubu and Amaechi.
“All these point to the fact that Tinubu and his cabal have a sinister agenda against the North, which they want to use Buhari to achieve.
“Our leaders in the north should therefore intervene and free Buhari from the APC cabal now because he needs to take proper and adequate care of himself medically.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

This man is advised to visit a psychiatrist for urgent medical attention. His comments reflects the attitude of a derailing lunatic. Something is just out of order and I weep for him. The evil that men do live with them.
ReplyDeleteWhy eating panadol for another man headache. Is it that this criminal gov don't have something to do in his state?
ReplyDeleteBuhari will develop heart attack after the election, mark my words cos he wouldn't believe the outcome.
ReplyDeleteI am totally bewildered that this charlatan is occupying the exalted position of a governor. What is abnormal with GMB seeing his doctors? Has he ceased being human because he is contesting the presidency of his country? Is it that PDP has nothing else to use in canvassing for votes except to harp ceaselessly on the character and health of Buhari. I am not a partisan politician but just a voter trying to find objective criteria to help me decide on who to vote for in the presidential elections. From the utterances of this man and the other one called Fani Kayode, it is becoming clearer that PDP has no issues to campaign on. Any time I listen to these charlatans and the media campaign portraying BUHARI as a ruthless dictator, I feel like deleting Jonathan and PDP from my memory. If the President is serious and desirous of reelection, he must call these people to order and refocus PDP campaign away from the personality of GMB. Otherwise, he will lose my vote to the opposition.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't think so either because I have no power of my own to judge any person nor comment. Leaders are chosen by God, whoever God has anoint and ordained to rule this nation it doesn't matter the political jamboree surely soonest God will do it His own way.
