The governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola has accused President Jonathan of telling lies over the achievements recorded by his administration since 2011, when he was sworn-in.
He said: “As I was reading the newspaper this morning, I saw an advert published by President Goodluck Jonathan, where he listed as part of his achievements the ongoing construction of the Adiyan Phase 11 water works and the N40 billion loan for education, which the central government underwrote for Lagos State through the EKO project.
“The president claimed that they have fixed the Airport Road and built Primary Health care Centres in Lagos State. Those who use the PHC know the people you see there. There are many other things that were also said in the advertorial. That advert is a lie.
Lagos State government under my administration is the one building the waterworks. If the President wants to lie in order to win election, it is a very low point for the presidential election.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

My gov, don't mind the desperado. A sinking man will hang to any available thing even a straw. Never again will our destiny be entrusted in the hands of inept leaders. We're for change.
ReplyDeleteJonathan is a con man
ReplyDeleteIt is not just enough to say the president lied as to bring abuse to him, Mr. Gov. If you consider he lied them sue and prove your case, if not just stop abusing your senior in the name of politics, please.
ReplyDeleteOn point my brother. This politics of disrespect, hate and propaganda is getting out of hand
DeleteSo he can't express his mind because he is boy boy. We voted for him to be governor not the president and he has the right to let us know d true picture of things. Let the president counter what he said. We voted both of them in.
Delete@ anonymous 9.39am, who is the senior? An elder who don't recognises the young ones can not be address as an elder...
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong to call a spade a spade? Senior or junior, truth must be told to remove corruption from our society.
ReplyDeletePresident Jonathan wrongly claim ownership of a state executed and funded project. That is the corruption of President Jonathan. Senior or not, corruption is corruption.
That's the same way GEJ said he fought EBOLA when we all know that he was busy campaigning for fayose n omisore during this period while fashola was building emergency centers in lagos.
ReplyDeleteWait oh. If you underwrite or guarantee a project finance facility, the full credit and performance risk is on the guarantor or underwriter oh. Governor take it easy oh. Some of us go school too. We are not illiterates.
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is Fashola's achievent in Lagos. There is no reasonable project in this loquacious man's administration yet he has the impetus to talk down the president. Fashola and Thiefnubu are the most corrupt pair in the world with so much hype cos they settle the media. Fashola spends 800 thousand naira daily for fuel. This governor is a hypocrite. LASPOTECH AND LASU have no hostel. Public Primary education is nothing to write home about in Lagos. His Mega city project is devoid of human face.
ReplyDeleteU don't live in LAGOS dt is y you've written dis nonsense!!! Fashola without any tangible achievement or project? U r sick upstairs!!!
DeleteSorry about that. But I think you need to see your doctor. Even my 2 year old boy knows Fashola worked. What rubbish are you saying? His works are speaking for him while GEJ is looking for what to speak for him ... too late.
DeleteImagine GEJ using an estate ( Amen Estate ) that was built by Redbrick a company own by shade d wife of d PDP bullet proof gov/ship aspirant, along eleko. An estate that have been existing even before OBJ , only GOD can save us frm GEJ, with al ds despiration 4 power, as he not done enof 2 drag ds country in2 mud, or dd he want ds hard fought Democracy 2 return 2 military?
