'Enough is enough, never vote PDP again' - Buhari tells Nigerians

The presidential candidate of the All progressives Congress, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Saturday told Nigerians not to make the mistake of voting the Peoples Democratic Party in the forth coming general elections.

He stated this in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital, during the North-Central zonal grand finale rally of the APC, adding that the 16 years of PDP rule in the country was a waste.

Buhari said, “Our Nigerian Airways, shipping line, railways, refineries, all collapsed under 16 years of PDP rule in the country. Nigeria goes to import fuel for consumption abroad, trucks are killing our people on our roads on daily basis.”

The presidential candidate also called on the thousands of supporters at the event to vote APC right from the presidential to the state House of Assembly level for a change to good life in the country.

The retired general said if he was elected as president of the country, he would not cheat people of the country, as refineries, roads, agriculture, roads, and other infrastructure would be revamped for the improvement of lives of the citizenry.

Buhari, Fashola and Ambode give PDP red card

He tasked all the supporters of the party in the country with ensuring that they obtained their Permanent Voter Cards before the elections.

Meanwhile, Governor of Yobe State, Ibrahim Gaidam, on Saturday said Buhari was excused from having a political campaign in his state due to the spate of insecurity in the area.

Speaking at a rally of the APC in Damaturu, Gaidam said contrary to reports that he did not see eye-to-eye with the presidential candidate of his party, the insecurity of the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway was the reason Buhari was excused.

The governor said he was amused by the fabrication of the opposition aimed at getting cheap political point.

Gaidam said the APC presidential candidate remained the candidate with proven integrity.

He described Buhari as a straight forward person that Nigerians would benefit under his leadership.

  1. Never again! I'm never voting PDP again, for any reason! Nigeria is in shambles because if them. They've had their time, let's try something else, I'm sure the difference will be clear. I'm not APC nor their supporter, I'm just a concerned Nigerian that have grown sense. We absolutely need change in Nigeria, it's urgent. Together we can make it happen. Drop the insults and the animosity, let's unite and sweep evil away from Nigeria, so we can grow. Enough is enough

  3. The worst is to the gathering of thieves called APC. Unfortunately, people like Emilia have been deceived to thinking that anything good is in APC. They are a group of wicked people desperately fighting with lies to destroy Nigeria and take her back to dark ages.

  4. Some people say they're not party supporters yet they advocate not voting for a particular party. That's flawed thinking. Is it about party or the individual? By the way, note that a lot of the power brokers in APC were actually the same PDP members that Buhari and others stated have failed the country in their 16yrs rule. So PDP failed for 16yrs but I see the same people that failed in PDP as APC power faces. Is it to continue the failure or because they no longer have top attention in their original party? I don't see the much talked about change in APC. I prefer and advocate transformation and improvement. Honestly, a lot of the PDP bad eggs that caused failure have moved to APC, so PDP is better now to move Nigeria forward.

    1. Truthful lie, Musiliu obanikoro who was appointed a commissioner is even having a case in court for rigging Ekiti state election and yet the president nominated him, how about Stella Odhua? She escorted the president to Jerusalem to pray for Nigeria (prayer indeed). How about the millions of dollars transported in a private jet for ammunition purchase? PDP is worse now than ever and u people still can see anything about it and again. up till now, all the bad eggs has not been prosecuted meaning they are not bad according to jonathan. continue sleeping bro and let ur children/grand children suffer ur ignorance.

  5. What we need is change and APC is promising us that. If APC doesn't perform we switch, no sentiment..

We are tired of stagnation. We want Nigeria of our dreams, where UK, US and others countries of the world will be rushing our visas.

We will get there. Our vote is our power to make that change. The future belongs to us the youth.

    Please lets vote wisely.

  9. For those of you insulting me and calling me foolish for supporting Buhari, your insults cannot stop the good change that Nigeria is about to experience. Believe it or continue to remain in denial, things are changing already, cos I haven't seen an election as powerful as this before,, something that made our president to work effectively for 6 weeks. What he couldn't do in 6 yrs. my PVC is exclusively for Buhari and I'm a proud Igbo, Christian and Nigerian. Bite me!

    1. He pardoned Alamesiegha, the man who was convicted abroad and had to escape dressed as an ugly woman. He pardoned and embraced Buruji Kashamu; a wanted drug baron and made him a party chairman. He pardoned Al mustapha; the hench man of Late Sani Abacha to use him in order to achieve some selfish political gains. He accepted and embraced Ali Modu Sheriff; a well known boko haram sponsor and gave him the PDP ticket to contest for senate. He failed to prosecute Stella Oduah, the Aviation Minister for the massive sleaze of her ministry's treasury to buy bullet-proof cars. He failed to prosecute Aba Moro; the Interior Minister who suprintended over the death of many graduates in search of immigration jobs and collected a thousand naira from each candidate. He failed to prosecute Diezani Madueke; the Petroleum Minister who has not been able to account for the missing billions of naira that developed wings under her care and was indicted abroad for brazen corruption. He failed to prosecute the man who stole billions of pension funds meant for those who have deligently served their father-land for 35 years. Aminu Oguche, the man who was extradited, a self-professed master-mind of the Nyanya bomb blast in which so many lives and properties were destroyed; was set free and to this day, not a single word has been heard from the presidency. He appointed Obanikoro, a known and unrepentant election rigger as a Minister in his cabinet. He appointed Femi Fani Kayode, a man with a money-laundering case on his neck, as his campaign co-ordinator. When Nigeria had a president, Gani Adams was in hiding, Uwazurike was in detention awaiting trial for treason, Asari Dokubo was in detention awaiting trial for treason, Tompolo was in hiding. Now vagabonds are in power the result is what we are witnessing today. Nigerians, these are the kind of people Jonathan loves.
