God punish DSTV.de ar bunch of xploitas
ReplyDeleteThis is arrant nonsense. Why the price increase? Why will this South African company exploit Nigerians without checks. This is ridiculous. We must resist this regular price increase
ReplyDeleteIt's time for Nigeria to have an alternate to dstv. There was Hitv. Alternatively, the government needs to regulate the cable industry
ReplyDeleteThey better not implement the new price less all their offices will go off in flames mysteriously. Since they decided to reap off Nigerians in the name of providing a service they will loose all that they have acquired. Multichoice, you are hereby warned!!!
ReplyDeleteGuys, i'm not happy about the increase too..but u can hardly blame dem..the naira is shit right now..one of the many effects of devaluing the naira
ReplyDeleteI wonder oh.
DeleteA lot of people have this habit of not reasoning properly before expressing themselves. Multichoice is a business, not a charity. The Company is simply doing what it must in order to survive in this shitty economy!
Has Naira Revaluation automatically increased consumer's salary? Consumers have the right the protest price hike. Just as companies protect their interest, consumers would also want to do same.
DeleteThank you Beacon, the first two anonymous guys must be enjoying government endowment or possibly be Dstv staff. How could a company from over 6000 miles away come to our country and firstly enjoy the benefits of monopoly and thereafter implement yearly increment as if Nigeria is a country of the voiceless and dumb? If this increment takes effect and stays, Nigerians would have succeeded in telling the world that they not only enjoy the oppression of the government, but are also enjoying the servitude in the hands of these South Africans. This must be fought at all cost. Prices remain the same or DSTV risks losing the entire Nigerian market.
DeleteWhat is the Job of NCC? corrupt situation has taten over all aspect of economy in this country. this is big cheat. pure nonsence
ReplyDeleteThiefs...anyway I dnt blame u pple,its d nigerian system I blame...
ReplyDeleteI don't blame them, I blame the government past and present that just leave us at the mercy of all these foreign companies ripping us off. How much is dstv in south Africa? How often do they increase the subscription there? How much do they make there compared with what they make here? Yet we have to pay even more. I think we have to deliver ourselves from these people as obviously our government doesn't have time for us. We have to resist this ourselves, but people at times act as if their lives depend on dstv
ReplyDeleteU dis (DSTV)boy u must b mad.I don't blame u @ all,i blame our government.Nonsense
ReplyDeleteLet's shift patronage to other cable TV providers and leave DSTv alone. A lot has to do with our naira devaluation due to bad governance.
ReplyDeleteI recall when the issue of per seconds billing came. MTN said it was near impossible to implement until Glo came to wow them. I think is high time we Nigerian's call for pay as you watch on DSTV channels. Come to think of it, how many channels do we actually watch?. If we seat back this so call people will continue to reap us dry. They have obviously bought the Government of this country. I see no reason why DSTV monopoly can not be broken.
ReplyDeleteWow...you've got brains man
DeleteChaiii HiTV messed up shaaa. If not :(
ReplyDeleteNigerians should not subscribe for 3 months. Useless DSTV.Come to think of it, Lagosians do you have time to watch what you are paying for? You leave early and you come back late.
ReplyDeleteAbeg, are they adding new stations or what. Arrant nonsense
ReplyDeleteNo be dem devalue Naira. Make we reason now if u be business man. Not supporting them but for this particular one na our Naira devaluation cause am.
DeleteEnough of all these devaluation of Naira, is it only their services that are existing? if all services are to increase cos of devaluation of naira, then we wld have ran out of this country by now. DSTV was already very high before now, and I'm sure they have made good profit over the years, why can't they just leave this as it were. I don't think it's been a year since they increased their tarrif.
DeleteMan shall not live by Dstv alone but by every other station that shows what we need.
ReplyDeleteDSTV must go!
ReplyDeleteOleeeee buruku........how much is dstv in south Africa? Africa exploiting Africa. Chai.....chai.... there is God....... this exploitation u people are doing there is God ooooooooo
ReplyDeleteKai. Pay thru my nose to access dstv channels. Then...... No electricity. Burn fuel to watch the channels. Kai, This exploitation is just too much. I better switch to reading books

ReplyDeleteNo need to talk too much, what we need is action.
ReplyDeleteLet us not subscribe for at least 3months. By the way, there is option...Startimes.
