Manchester City is set to make history in the UEFA Champions League as they are to face Barcelona in the round of 16 later tonight. This not the first time that the two sides are meeting with Barcelona being the better of the two side.
City is yet to make it past this stage of the competition is to go head to head with the spanish giant. Meanwhile a lot of the club's fans are hoping that the English outfit can impress them in this fixture of the UEFA Champions League by writing an exciting new chapter with victory over Barcelona.
Yesterday Sami Nasri spoke of City’s need to "create our own history" in the competition and the Mirror says: "City fans have yet to fall in love with the Champions League… yet tonight's visit of Barcelona can change that perception."
Elsewhere in europe, Juventus are to take on Dortmund in the second fixture of the UEFA Champions League.
The two clubs have both come off the back of a win in their last league matches respectively and are to go head to head later tonight.
