The Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission, Mr. Chris Onyeminam, said on Wednesday that over six million Nigerians had been issued with the National Identity Card.
He spoke at the National Assembly as the commission issued the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, his own card in Abuja.
Other principal officers of the House, including the Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha, also received their cards.
Onyeminam claimed that the distribution of the cards was tedious.
He appealed to Nigerians yet to receive theirs to be patient with NIMC.

The Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission, Mr. Chris Onyeminam is not speaking truth here. Not even a single soul have received their identity card here in Ughelli North, and I believe that equally applies to Delta state.

ReplyDeleteits been a whole year since i applied for the National ID card and its still not ready, and everyday those people that work there wake up and tell their folks at home that they are going to work. I just dont know what they are doing there and what this country Nigeria has become.
