The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has described as ridiculous, allegations that it collected N7 billion bribe to rubbish All Progressives Congress, APC’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), wondering why mischief makers would concoct lies to deceive the public.
Public Relation Officer, PRO, of Northern CAN, Mr. Sunday Oibe, said: “The allegation is a complete lie and just one of the many evil plots to dent the image of CAN’s leadership.
“It is also to rubbish its integrity and make it morally incapable of leading Christians in these trying times. There was no way anybody would collect a kobo on behalf of CAN and start sharing it like booty.
“The man, who made the allegation, is totally unknown in CAN cycle and I am just hearing his name and that of his organization for the first time. How come he could be privy to such an arrangement if it really existed?
“It is a shame that anyone would make such mean allegation, without giving a shred of evidence, just to fulfil a political agenda at the cost of our ecumenism.
“It is all to silence the voice of CAN leaders against the tyranny and oppression that Christians suffer in the north-east and other parts of northern Nigeria.
“For the first time our oppressors have found CAN speaking up for its members, and they must do everything to frustrate our leaders. The kingdom of evil shall, again, fall flat at the feet of Jesus.”
It can be recalled that NigerianEye reported that a Borno-based pastor, who identified himself as Kallamu Musa-Dikwa and Executive Director, Voice of Northern Christian Movement, had alleged that some pastors allegedly received the ₦7 billion, not ₦6 billion as alleged by Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State. I really don't need to say this here but hear me out.
ReplyDeleteI am one of the corp members that just
passed out yesterday, and here in akwa ibom state they paid us
only 19000 naira instead of 19800 + The bicycle alawi of 1500. my
question is, if it is so in your state. Thanks for your contribution
Abstain from every appearance of evil. Come out of them, and be ye separate. That is the simple solution. Let us obey these biblical injunctions and save our head.
ReplyDeleteCAN president , why are you responding now, RCCG G.O responded immediately making clear that he knew nothing about it... why is it taking you a whole month to respond... May the good almighty God judge every one of us. Ayo, I really do not like the way you behave, just my opinion!!!... by the way what is that big Gold chain on your neck like 2PAC.
ReplyDeletemr ayo i don think u ar stil relavant in national isues.
ReplyDeleteWheenever chritianity as a body mingles with politic . Expect a great smear . Light and darkness can not mingle
ReplyDeleteTouch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm
ReplyDeleteThis response is a big relief to me personally. For how could the church of God morally continue her primary task of evangelism with such a dent. Thank God it is all untrue. May those who seek to rubbish the church of God or the servants of God be rubbished. May God continually protect His own and bring every tongue that rises against them to judgment.
ReplyDeleteMay we also add that those of us who are called by the name of the Lord should be wary of politicians. Nigerian politics is, for now, dirty, and most of the actors there are, to say the least, evil. They are wolves in sheep clothing. They may or may not go to church. That does not make them righteous. Most of them have blood in their hands and though they may quote the Bible they stink before God. God enjoins us to separate from such. We are not to regard them as enemies. We are rather to keep praying for them, show them the way of the Lord, and disapprove of their misdeeds. Even those who trumpet their cleanness of lives are just as devilish as the one they seek to rubbish. Let us not allow our sentiments translate into biases. We remain the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Peace be with all who love the Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love!
YesI agree with this biblical line, touch not annointed and do no harm to my annointed. My Question is Why is Pastor Ayo always at the Centre Stage of all these saga? Please I suggest that this question be answered. There is no doubt Ayo has messed himself up with politicians, more especially Goodluck Jonathan and PDP. If possible Ayo resgn and let another person take over. Its becoming too much of you.

DeleteIt's really unfortunate how Christianity in Nigeria is now being led by people who are known to have history of inordinate ambition.
ReplyDeleteGoing by warnings in the Book of Revelation, what the Nigerian Church is involving itself in today will definitely lead to its ultimate demise. The CAN/PFN hardly reproves evil (Ephesians 5:11-13) and majority of their membership today are known to eagerly dip their hands into iniquity.
Majority of the CAN/PFN membership have totally lost focus and thus rather than retrace their steps back to the source of Spiritual Power and relevance which rules the Physical, they are busy struggling with the prince of this world for worldly power and recognition since they have lost their spiritual power and spiritual relevance.
Though the Lord Jesus declared that the gates of hell will never prevail against His Church, but, when the Nigerian Church continues in its ways and path of iniquity just in the same way that the Church in Countries like Britain and most Countries in Europe did, the Church in Nigeria will eventually destroy itself. Is it not an irony that the same Europe that evangelized Africa is now being Evangelised by Africans. It shows that the Church in Europe destroyed itself by collaborating with their Governments to perpetuate evil in their Colonies.
By this, the greatest threat to the Nigerian Church today are those Christians who condone iniquity and evil. Let us remember this, when the ways of the Church pleases God, He will make even her enemies to be at peace with her (Proverbs 16:7).
It's thus absurd for any Christian to claim that an individual can wipe out Christianity in Nigeria. It shows that those so-called Christians are not real students of the Bible, if so they would have known the verse that says, Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Also that, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God.
By this, any professing Christian that spreads propaganda that an individual can wipe out Christianity in Nigeria is only demonstrating the fact that they do not really know this our God, that He is an awesome God. They are only close to God with their mouth while their hearts are far far away from God. And this is the character of GEJ. GEJ confesses God but by his actions/inactions denies the very existence of God and also denies the power of God. GEJ is thus nothing but an hypocrite.
GEJ is morally bankrupt, a pathological liar and highly deceptive individual. And that is a truth that we cannot fight or else we will never be free. GEJ is a wolf in sheep clothing. GEJ condoned corruption even more than NPN back in the 1979-1983.
Please, does anyone know GEJ's real Pastor. I am not referring to those Pastors in official capacity.
GEJ secured the PDP 2011 mandate by deception in that without being compelled, he declared his intention not to seek for 2nd term and declared with his mouth that his tenure will end May 2015 with BBC UK also carrying the story on 01/02/2011. That means, GEJ committed 419.
Indeed, a leader may have at his/her disposal the Nation's resources to spend (and even squander) all in the name of Projects. However, there are crucial things that a leader on his/her own part must bring to that table/seat of leadership which are namely, righteousness, honesty, integrity, character (must be a man/woman of his/her words either in secret or in the open), hatred for sin, hatred for corruption, hatred for hypocrisy, courage (not an ostrich like leader that will be busy burying head in the sand), empathy, etc.
Proverbs 6:16-19 states that;
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Assessing GEJ on all the aforementioned shows that God can never and will never support and individual like GEJ unless God himself is a liar which can never be so.
